LIFT WEIGHTS!

I’ve always been baffled by people who say they want to lose weight before adding in resistance training. The only time that would make sense is if your job is being a 6ft tall 100 lb. supermodel. lol.

Here’s an important study for those who refuse to lift weights until they get down to their goal body weight. This is from the conclusion:

“Therefore, our findings demonstrate once again that people who lose weight due to caloric restriction may also lose substantial muscle mass. When they regain the weight, they mostly regain fat and do not return to their basal muscle mass.”

Bottom line: Just lift!
